Day 9 of our trip

We started our day by driving up to Atlantic City. When we got there we realized that it was crowded. Max and I were just not up to dealing with crowds. So we drove by some of the hotels and then headed on to our next stop- Coney Island.

As soon as we drove into Coney Island, I wouldn't say that we were afraid for our lives- but it must have been crazy person day. There were just strange people everywhere there. When we got to the amusement park, Max and I both looked at each other and said, "you ready to move on to the next stop?" So this day of our trip wasn't looking so great so far.
Our next stop was Max and Mina's Ice Cream Shop. If you noticed from the picture, they offered so strange flavors like: wasabi, horseradish,.. Trenton ventured out and tried corn on the cob ice cream and he loved it. I did try a sample of the wasabi and I have to say that it tastes just like wasabi...nasty!!

After we finished with our ice cream, we got back into the car to find that our computer decided to crash on us. It had our whole itinerary on it and the programed GPS of our entire trip. So we decided to do it old school....MAPS! I can say that we never got lost either.

That evening our final stop was in Connecticut at the Mystic Pizza Restaurant. Many of the older generation would recognize the name from one of Julia Roberts movies "Mystic Pizza". They had the movie playing on the big screen while we ate and memorabilia from the movie everywhere.
The gang eating our delicious "Mystic" pizza. It was actually very good pizza!
