When we reached Boston, it was a humid, warm day. Our first destination was the freedom trail. We did stop at Boston's very own Dunk'in Donuts to get the original Boston Cream Donuts...They were so good.

This was the red brick freedom trail that we followed throughout the city. It was so different seeing historical sites in the middle of a big city.
Some of the highlights of the Boston Sites were Paul Revere's home, the church that Nicolas Cage was on, and well everything else that the kids could relate to the movie National Treasure. Thanks to that movie, my kids were able to enjoy Boston.

As we were walking through the town, we saw where Lacey lives. She wanted a pictures so everyone would know for sure where she lived.
Around 2pm we were tired and sun burned. The kids all voted to move on the our next stop- Maine. We drove up to Maine near Portland and just swam in the hotel pool and relaxed the rest of the evening.

The kids didn't "look" too happy about Boston.....didn't you go and see where the Boston Tea Party was?
And I love where Lacey lives.
